Mother and Toddler
age 2 & 3
At this stage of childhood, toddlers are eager to move and explore their surroundings. Action-packed musical movement activities incorporates the curiosity of toddlers into learning through listening to musical commands. Children build their affinity for musical rhythms with natural movement such as walking, running, skipping, jumping and clapping.
The parent’s active participation in interactive learning allows them to build their relationship with the child through give and take. They are actively involved in the child’s creative learning process. Instead of being the instructor to the child, they become intimately involved in fun making which enriches the relationship. At the same time, it allows the child to build confidence, concentration, self-control and language skills. The happy bonding between mother and child helps to nurture a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
